Chicken Ka Kee is a new brand that builds on the legacy of Boon Tong Kee, one of Singapore’s most famous chicken rice establishments. The brand aims to elevate chicken rice, a dish central to Singaporean identity, into a modern, globally appealing concept. The brand identity takes inspiration from traditional hawker center visuals, including the typography and signage commonly seen at chicken rice stalls. These familiar cues were polished and refined to create a design that resonates with local customers while being accessible to international audiences.

The brand’s visual identity strikes a balance between nostalgia and modernity. By incorporating recognizable elements from hawker culture in a more elevated form, Chicken Ka Kee presents itself as both approachable and premium. This reflects the brand’s mission to showcase Singapore’s chicken rice as a dish that transcends cultural and economic boundaries, welcoming diners from all walks of life.
