Bravo has been recognised at the 2022 MARKies Awards for its campaign Hey Boss, developed in collaboration with DBS SME Banking.
The campaign encouraged digital payment adoption among small business owners in Singapore—many of whom still rely on traditional cash and cheque workflows. Rather than emphasising product features, the work addressed ingrained behaviours, using everyday language, familiar pain points and a deliberately conversational tone of voice.
Messaging was embedded directly into DBS’s IDEAL platform and tailored to user roles. Banners, pop-ups, and eDMs presented simple, colloquial prompts (“Ps, boss…” / “Sorry boss…”) paired with clear calls to action. The creative was designed to feel human, familiar, and slightly disarming—reminding SMEs that change doesn’t have to be difficult.
With a budget of S$8,000, the campaign saw significant impact: a 55% increase in digital payments via FAST/PAYNOW and a 16% drop in cheque usage.
