Nostalgia is a funny thing. A wilful way to long after a sanitized past, to construct a positive outlook on how things are in present-day. A signal of hope that things will be better, and they will because we will look back on today - in the future - as one of those simpler times. A buzz that rings through our minds and a warm feeling through our bodies, as we are reminded of the places we love. As we occupy a modernised world within the walls of a refurbished establishment, even the smallest of elements could invoke the sentimentality we seek, to remind us that the past has yet to be forgotten, or erased.
