Branding the Future in China’s Tech Capital

In 2019, Shenzhen, China’s hub of tech innovation, hosted the inaugural Zero One Tech Festival, a large-scale public event showcasing smart living technologies from around the world. Set in an abandoned glass factory on the city’s outskirts, the festival was designed as an immersive experience for both industry insiders and everyday visitors. Bravo was invited to create the brand from the ground up, including the visual identity, environmental graphics, signage systems, and supporting communications.

Our task was to transform an industrial shell into a future-forward destination. The design had to reflect Shenzhen’s global ambitions while remaining welcoming and intuitive. We created a high-contrast visual language with bold typography, dynamic layouts, and vibrant accents, bringing clarity and energy to the raw space. From exterior banners to digital schedules and directional signage, every element reinforced movement and progress.

The branding spanned physical and digital touchpoints, making the festival feel consistent and alive. More importantly, it reframed technology as integrated, inspiring, and accessible. For a city building the future at full speed, Zero One offered a rare pause to see, feel, and imagine how tech could shape everyday life.
